# Acuity Scheduling embed

> Embed your Acuity Scheduling calendar in the portal so clients can book appointments.

## Overview

Acuity Scheduling is a tool that allows you to schedule and automate appointments with your clients in a clean and well-designed app. You can embed a **Calendar** by following the instructions below.

## App Setup

1. In the Dashboard sidebar, click **+ Add App**, then under **More ways to add** select **Embed existing content**.
2. Choose **Acuity Scheduling** from **Popular embeds** — or click **Add embed** to start from a URL.
3. Click **+ Embed app**. You'll land on the app's setup page.
4. Set a title and icon that represent the app.
5. We recommend setting this up as an **automatic** app so that your Acuity calendar will be visible to all clients. If you only want this App to be visible to one or more specific clients, set this as a **manual** App.
6. Leave the app set to **Show as embed** so that the client isn't directed outside of the portal.
7. Go to your Acuity account and click **Scheduling Page Link** in the sidebar.
8. Under **Direct Links and Embedding**, select the **Embed Other** tab.
9. Copy the iframe code provided.
10. Go back to the **App Setup** page and paste the copied iframe code into the content box.
11. Click **Add** to be redirected to the app.
